Welding is a complex manufacturing process, as the quality and suitability of the welded joint cannot be verified by simple methods. The properties of the welded joint are influenced by many factors, therefore it is necessary to create appropriate technological and procedure specifications that guarantee the statistically reliable reproducibility of the proven mechanical properties and chemical composition of the joint during successive weldings, i.e. guarantee the minimum expected quality.

The most important task in the field of welding quality assurance is to ensure the constant level of quality of welded joints. In order for the welding process in a company to be predictable and stable, the presence of a welding engineer and the professional performance of welding tasks are essential. Accordingly, I have put together the following service package for my existing and future Customers:

• Ensuring welding supervision and performing responsible welding tasks according to the ISO 14731 standard,
• The performance of the welding coordinator responsibilities according to ISO 3834-2 standard, 8/2018. (VIII. 17.) ITM Decree and 44/2016. (XI. 28.) NGM Decree, and the creation of the quality management system tailored to the company and the preparation for the certification audit,
• determining the required technology tests according to the ISO 15614 series of standards and compiling the necessary documentation for conducting them, as well as determining the technological parameters using experimental welding and theoretical methods,
• determination of the welding qualifications essential for production and the organization of welding tests according to the ISO 9606 series of standards and the ISO 14732 standard, as well as the compilation of the necessary supporting documentation,
• preparation of welding and inspection plans based on the technical descriptions/regulations of the Customer's Clients,
• the preparation of welding technologies required for production, welding work schedule specifications, and of WPS sheets,
• provision of data when preparing a price offer, inspection of contracts with regard to welding, checking of plans, technical drawings and technical specifications from a welding standpoint,
• selection of welding consumables, control of storage, drying and use conditions,
• theoretical and practical preparation of welders prior to their qualification exams, maintenance of qualifications and extension every six months (if the prescribed conditions are met),
• maintaining contact with welding managers of Customers, Interested Parties and Notified Bodies,
• competent representation at professional events, business negotiations, project discussions, complaint negotiations.
